Rotunda North Terrace
The UVA ROTC units will host a joint service Veteran’s Day Ceremony at the Rotunda, including a 21-gun salute. Students are encouraged to participate in a gesture of support and appreciation for veterans and their service.
At the request of UVA ROTC, the University is recognizing the holiday a few days before Veterans Day before we pause on Nov. 13 to remember the three students tragically killed on that day a year ago.
Nov. 7 is Election Day, and most classes will not be in session. Due to renovations in the Amphitheatre, the ceremony has been moved from there to the Rotunda.
