Fourth-year commerce and Global Sustainability Pathway student Lauren Vaillancourt has always been motivated by the “thrill of the sale.” Inspired by the business roles of her family members, Lauren pursued the McIntire School of Commerce so that she could gain the tools to make a difference in the world.

For Cole Rozwadowski, a fourth-year Architecture and Public Arts Pathway student, the core of public service is “walking alongside others.” Originally from Culpeper, Virginia, Cole chose to attend UVA not only for its competitive Architecture program, but also because UVA stood out as a school that deeply valued the development of citizen leaders with a desire to give back to the community.
Kyleigh Phillips, a 4th year majoring in Global Security & Justice and Spanish with a Batten minor and a member of the Diplomacy & Security Pathway, has combined meaningful service with professional growth through her internship with the Center for Community Partnerships (CCP).
