Meet authors. Engage with readers. Join a celebration! The 2024 Virginia Festival of the Book is looking for volunteers for one of the most exciting events in Charlottesville. We're celebrating our 30th anniversary year with more than seventy events and 130 authors, and we need your help! Most volunteer opportunities take place along the downtown mall area of Charlottesville, though a few are further afield. We need folks to coordinate sites, escort authors, direct pedestrian traffic, and more! Sign up here.
