- At the top of the Volunteer Registration site (under Find your Category), click on the category for which you want to volunteer
- If you select “Anywhere You Need Me,” click the box next to the time slot, then click on the orange button to Volunteer. For other categories, there are subcategories for you to select from. Click on the box next to the task that you want. Then click the orange button to Volunteer.
- The next page might ask you who you are registering (on my page, RSU has me registered in many different ways, so I select my most recent entry)
- The next page asks you for any needed updates, then check the box near the bottom to accept the waiver and click Continue
- The next page has 3 questions for you to answer. The first one is where you note Foothills. The 2nd asks if you’re over the age of 15. The 3rd asks for any additional information (such as volunteering with others), which you can note in the box. If you don’t answer questions 1 and 2, you cannot proceed. Click Continue
- Review your information on the next page, then click the button “Confirm Volunteer Registration.” Now you’re all done! You will receive an email from RunSignup with the subject line: Volunteer Confirmation for Charlottesville Ten Miler
