Come out and Step UP for Down Syndrome! We need volunteers for the Virginia Down Syndrome Association's annual fundraiser in Charlottesville.
The event will be held on April 21st from 1-4pm at Piedmont YMCA. This is a family festival with food, music, face painting, inflatables, silent auction, community resource fair, and more! It will be a great afternoon of fun and celebrating all individuals with Down Syndrome!
Meet authors. Engage with readers. Join a celebration! The 2024 Virginia Festival of the Book is looking for volunteers for one of the most exciting events in Charlottesville. We're celebrating our 30th anniversary year with more than seventy events and 130 authors, and we need your help! Most volunteer opportunities take place along the downtown mall area of Charlottesville, though a few are further afield.
Join the International Studies Office for the Winter Education Abroad Fair. Learn more about the many different study abroad programs available for UVA students. Meet with UVA faculty program directors, program providers, and host universities. We hope to see you there!

We invite English learners and English speakers to come join us now! The deadline to join VISAS is Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 11:59 PM!
Want to practice your English and meet new people?
ASB will conduct our Spring Break trips to Maine, the Florida Keys, San Francisco, Joshua Tree, and Zion during Spring Break. As is our organization's mission, these trips will involve participants conducting service activities for the benefit of the community they are visiting.
We are seeking volunteers to participate in the Charlottesville Random Hacks of Kindness event at the Albemarle Campus Club of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central VA on January 26, 2024. Funding and organization of this event has been made possible by the UVA/Buford lab school planning grant. We hope this will become an annual lab school event where we share the power of student-driven learning and computing to solve real-world problems with middle school students, industry experience and local nonprofits throughout the region.
