Receptionist Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville is looking for Receptionist Volunteers (RVs) to serve in the affiliate office. Key responsibilities of the RV are to make sure visitors and callers feel welcome and feel heard and then connecting them with the appropriate Habitat staff member based on their inquiry. RVs also make visitors feel comfortable as they wait in the front of the affiliate office. RVs are critical because they ensure a positive first experience for visitors and callers while also performing other helpful tasks to help operations run smoothly.

RVs serve four-hours shifts either from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 1 to 5 p.m. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, and RVs are expected to serve at least one shift every other week.

If you are interested in joining us as a Receptionist Volunteer please email Garrett Trent, HFHGC Volunteer Manager, at, or call the office at 434-293-9066.
