The student organizations listed here are involved in service through local, national, and international community service activities, fundraising, and activism. Students self-select the public service category through the student organization registration process, and staff assign this category to administrative organizations.

Young Life Leadership at the University of Virginia exists to train and equip the members in the skills and techniques of leadership in Christ in regards to adolescent ministry as described by the Young Life statement of purpose. In addition, the organization seeks to deepen and strengthen the spiritual life of members through the use of scripture, prayer, and fellowship.
