The student organizations listed here are involved in service through local, national, and international community service activities, fundraising, and activism. Students self-select the public service category through the student organization registration process, and staff assign this category to administrative organizations.
FACE AIDS is a student campaign to fight AIDS in Africa. We organize fundraising and awareness campaigns on Grounds and throughout the Charlottesville community centered on the distribution of beaded AIDS awareness pins. The purpose of FAME is to create a community in which student artists can come together and showcase their work. FAME incorporates various forms of art with a focus on fashion design. This includes but is not limited to photography, fashion design, music, modeling, studio art, and dance.

Feminism is For Everyone (FIFE) is a feminist organization dedicated to fostering feminist community and promoting activism for gender equality at UVa and in the greater Charlottesville community.
The Feminist Legal Forum is dedicated to advancing feminist discussion and awareness. The Feminist Legal Forum provides a place for law students to examine legal issues which affect women, clarify what feminism means to young lawyers, and unite to eradicate sexism in the legal profession and within the law school.
The Filmmakers' Society is a student run organization that seeks to nurture and educate a community of student filmmakers by providing, networking, and managing personnel and equipment resources, allowing students to produce, exhibit, and critique their film projects at UVA.

Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children FIMRC is dedicated to fundraising for est. and developing pediatric hospitals and clinic that are in need of financial assistance. Our projects serve to donate financial resources for purchasing med. equipment and for the construction of facilities where medical care can be delivered.

FCL is a nationwide organization, and this year will be the initiation of the college chapter here at UVA. This organization focuses on engaging youth in civic and political leadership.
